Refund policy

How refunds work for a paid GenRC plan.

Effective 18 August 2026.

1. 14-day refund window

Any charge for a paid GenRC subscription — Racer, Club or Venue, monthly or annual — can be refunded in full within 14 days of that charge, no questions asked. This applies to the first charge of a new subscription and to a renewal alike.

The free plan has nothing to refund: it has never required a payment, and downgrading to it does not delete anything above its limits — that data becomes read-only rather than removed, so there is nothing to lose by asking for a refund and stepping back down.

2. How to ask for one

Email tarash281@gmail.com, or use the support form on the Contact & support page, with the email address your account uses. There is no form to fill in beyond that, and no reason required.

Paddle, as the merchant of record for every paid charge, processes the actual refund to your original payment method once it is approved. That transfer can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer, even though the approval itself is immediate.

3. What happens to your subscription

A refunded subscription is cancelled at the same time, and the account returns to the free plan's limits from that point. Nothing you have already entered is deleted: a garage or a feature above the free tier's limits simply becomes read-only, the same as it would after any downgrade or a subscription lapsing on its own.

4. Outside the window

A request made after the window has closed is considered individually rather than refused automatically — write in and explain what happened. This policy sets a floor on what is guaranteed, not a ceiling on what is possible.
